MTNL Mumbai Saw 4 MBPS speed post FUP

Hey guys,
I am using MTNL since quite a few years but was always on the DSL non combo 500 (now 600) plan, as soon as I saw the 4 MBPS 800rs plan I migrated on that.

I exhaust the 15 gb in the first week itself, however I was trying to download Hearthstone through blizzard.net and I saw 350+kbps download speed much post exhaustion of the FUP.

These are the stats that I get (my ip is usually on 120.63.x.x)

SNR Margin (db) 21.5 10.1
Line Attenuation (db) 30.9 19.2
Data Rate (kbps) 4095 1021


1) I was just wondering, is there any way to bypass the FUP quota?
because I don't see the data rate changing after quota exhaustion.

if you have open ports on mtnl a VPN can be used to bypass fup , used to do in good ol days.

actually that no longers works so not worth explaining much, (might still work but you have to find the port which doesn't counts data) , i used mts for 6 months free of charge with udp port 53 , used to do this on bsnl too with 9201 port which used to give full speed and data was not counted hence no FUP . these two connections were only accessible to me but i used to hear that it was working in other operators too . this was in 2011 if i remember.

A) how to check which port is open and does not consume data?

B) any other possible way?

Ain;t broken nothing to fix lol.. remove the ip range u mentioned haha
I am sure one of babu wil see range and get it fixed :xD
In mumbai they are all accurate after FPU officially speed gets reduced.

in my case even when it;s start of month speed is all throttled lol
