Seeking Wisdom of the Crowds - How to get sponsors for a project?

I have got a good response from people but I am in a dilemma now. I am finding it hard to get some brands onboard for micro-sponsorship.I request you guys to give me some ideas on how to go about it.

why do supposedly indian companies use stock photos with international faces in them?you need to work on your blog.

These stock photos were the ones that were available for free on the web. The ones at ImagesBazaar.com are like Rs.5000 a piece.The blog will be updated soon. Thanks for reminding.

so what exactly is the deal? you cannot find sponsors to umm sponsor free prints? or you find sponsors to help you expand the service by provide funds to market the service?

Sponsors to sponsor the free prints, that's right.I have been sending emails to marketing divisions of various brands for the past few days but only a couple have replied. That too with a standard - We'll get in touch with you when something like this comes up.

well your concept looks good. but you are in the wrong country for something like this.

this might have worked if you were a brand (like web18 for example)... for an individual.... it seems like a tough nut to crack.

i would be more than willing to help you out here. but this forum is not going to gain ANYTHING from advertising on some random snaps. only bigger brands are going to work in this model...

Thanks a lot for your kind words. But I don't agree with your cynicism about being in the wrong country.I understand that IBF is not the right sponsor. Bigger sponsors, yes.I am just looking for ideas on how to get sponsors, for a project like this, on-board.
