Somewhere in British suburbia, in the run up to Christmas, a man is being hounded by a violent debt collector. In order to terrify his girlfriend’s son into not revealing this secret he creates a mythical beast, Senka, that punishes bad behavior. As Christmas Day draws nearer, the twin threats of the debt collector and Senka begin to tighten their grip on the house.
