Serial is a podcast about a story unravelling over weekly episodes. So yeah show but only in audio form. Is quite popular. Each Episode is free to download and varies from 30-50 minutes.

Heard the first episode today. Its good. Its into its 10th episode now. Transcripts for all episodes are on Reddit.

Serial follows the true life story of a high school student Hae Min Lee who was murdered in 1999. Her ex boyfriend Adnan Sayed got convicted and is still in prison for a crime he claims he didn't commit. And thanks to investigations and the points brought up in this podcast, the case is being reviewed by the prosecutors for the third time bringing a ray of hope to Adnan's family.

Whoa. It took prosecutors another 8 years from this podcast to come to this conclusion. Facepalm. He is free.

Adnan Syed will walk free from prison today after the judge overturned his conviction and ordered him to be granted a new trial.
Baltimore City Circuit Judge Melissa Phinn said that she was vacating the 41-year-old’s conviction “in the interest of justice”.
Syed will be released on home detention.
