Thanks for sharing. I have a question here. Why are you killing so many processes, any specific gain? One advice here, you should re-think about stopping download at 8:10AM. It would be better if you can stop at 7:55AM, as its risky affair (u never know when BSNL will resolve that bug :-) ). If at all you want to take risk, restart ur download at 7:58AM and continue till 8:10AM or 8:25AM, which ever you think is correct.

thx dOne .. now i stop my download at 7:59 cos today i was charged from 08:09:38 AM To 08:15:41 AM :( thx god its only 90MB :) its under that limit .And i stop those processes because i just need to download and i dont wanna use any of those .exe(s). This saves cpu usage and hope that my processor will remain for a longer time :)

u can stop start-up of a lot of processes u mentioned just by using ccleaner , a free soft.and no offense but idm is not a torrent client but only a downloader ,so it mainly focuses on download not upload.Hence it kills bit-torrent ethics.but still its my personal opinion as I do care about seeding.i use 2 softs, one is reconnect and other is auto power on and shut down.reconnect for connecting net and auto powr on for booting for start-up.i could download about 2.5-3 GB and 1.2-1.3 GB per night.but never downloaded so much as i am running low on HD space.average DL speed -180 kbytes/secaverage UL speed -75 kbytes/sec

ccleaner is mostly a junk file removal tool. :) for killing processes you need to use task manager or a dedicated application for it.

I am not talking about killing processes .actually some of programs mentioned are needless at startup.well open ccleaner.goto tools>startup and disable or delete any program from startup.:happy:it is simple one.but yes it only shows programs other than xp system programs.to stop system programs there are other methods by the way.
