i had to shift my connection in mid 2025. they said it isnt feasible at new address and didnt give a refund, i had taken annual plan and 9 months was left. i asked for pro rata refund but they said no, i filed a consumer court case online and after one month got the refund. then at new address i tried getting new connection from same excitel with different phone number, had to bribe to the technician guy 800rs and got the excitel connection at same new address.
trust me "hassle free" is a lie.
