I currently have 100 Mbps connection from Jio and for my usage I am pretty happy with it (Jio was the first fiber internet provider in my locality and ofcourse unlimited data for first few months that's why I choose it). Now multiple ISP have started providing in my locality (ACT, Airtel, Tata Sky and ofcourse Excitel) and I don't feel that Jio is competitive enough like they were when they first started. Should I bother switching to Excitel? Excitel Fiber is actually cheap enough to justify me switching from Jio. I use around 500-700 GB data per month. I am skeptical because I was easily able to find many negative review for Excitel (check their App's reviews on playstore, it's a nightmare). I frankly don't care much about ping, I just use my fiber connection to stream or download TV series and Movies. I am okay with some hours downtime every few weeks (expected with small ISPs) if they fix the issue without me calling them (I really don't want to deal with pain-in-the-ass employees).
PS :- I live in Jaipur.

Depends upon your LCO. Ask around if anyone has a Excitel fiber and take their review. For streaming it's great since it's peered. If you use international servers out of Excitel's peering then you'll get low speeds.

Excitel is new here in Jaipur and my locality got marked on Excitel's website few days ago. They told me to wait for one week for installation hence no users around in my locality, I maybe the first one. That aside what's up with so many negative reviews about Excitel?

Jio is prepaid service and so is excitel.
When jio recharge is over get excitel. If you dont like then you can recharge back jio in minutes.

For 700GB jio is very costlty. Also dont surrender jio as you didn't paid any installation charges only deposit. Keep it as backup.
