Hi,I am currently in USA and will be moving to Mumbai soon. I have AT&T DSL at my place and have the Siemens Speedstream 4100 DSL modem. Can i use it with MTNL Triband may be by flashing the firmware etc...Regards,Hemen

It is a single basic single LAN port modem
can be used for MTNL BB
without any modification.
( No wifi or additional Lan ports or USB port )

great so you mean if i get MTNL triband when i get home i will not buythe modem from there and simply plug mine in and it should work ...is my assumption correct.

You have to pay money to MTNL to get the BB connection !!!
seems some delay in getting the BB connection.

If already having a MTNL phone line BB connection may be given fast.
Mention your locality ( in MUMBAI) for confirmation from other users.

Thanks for the images. My aim is just to ensure that I can save the 50Rs per month for the MTNL provided CPE.

I am from mumbai and have MTNL phone at home. I am from goregaon East, near dindoshi depot.

Thanks for the guidance.

BTW this is my current setup in USA
