I did not understand your question correctly. However, let me try and explain. when i enter the router IP it takes me to the login screen, so, yes, i am able to log into the wifi router. under the wireless tab. i checked ssid and changed the security settings, but the Wireless LED on the router is still not ON...

in that case you could try resetting your modem and then configuring it again.. if you still have problems, post a screenshot of the WIRELESS page..
