signal strength & signal quality --- What u all get on Tata Sky DTH?

Why does the day and night value differ? Should not make a difference..
unless only nights are rainy and cloudy and skies are clear during daytime

I dont know why...it is not stable, when i call in Tata Sky customer care they said that because of rainy season it happens...

Signal strength for me is around 98% n signal quality crosses 60 in tat yellow bar.. Is tat fine? Pls anyone reply

My signal strength is 40-45 and and before the rainy season i got the quality level as 80. Now the quality has dropped and it fluctuates a lot. Too many interferences in the rainy season for my liking. It is very annoying to watch the TV with those momentary freezes and signal loss and is happening very often.I'm interested to know about other Tata Sky users.

for me the quality is 100% all time and strength is 204 to 211 (around 85% to 86%).Mostly the strength is 204.

Well maximum no of times due to slight displacement of dish or lnb there is drop in signal quality or pixelization, couple of things you can try,Just nudge the dish a little and see if the signal improves,rotate the lnb slightly and see if there is any improvement in the signal.Please be very careful while doing the above steps , and check the signal strength to see how its working, Doing a similar thing is much easier with dish tv set top box because they give beep sounds, higher the sounds mean better the signals, so it is faster and easier to set them up
