I think I need 2.5Gbe WAN/LAN port router (IDU). My current router have only 100Mbe WAN/LAN ports :p. Any recommendation on Router that have 2x 2.5Gbe WAN/LAN ports and Wifi6?

Yeah so the thing about 5G is bad AAU alignment everywhere. I get more than 1Gbps (consistent) when facing antenna. But if you are in other area/direction of antenna then speed around 300-700Mbps (Even from 2-3 km away).

What IDU/Router you have. ?

Yeah. x86 routers looks interesting. But again then I have to change my current motherboard (gbe) with ones that have 2.5Gbe port :p . I am thinking of buying budget Gbe port router that have Wifi6 from Amazon or something.

Realistically speaking, I do not think we'll ever achieve 2.5Gbps or more on 5G networks we have right now. At most few people can do 1.3-1.7Gbps. So for now I think Gbps routers are just fine

How is this one?
TP-Link WiFi 6 AX1500 Mbps Archer AX10

@MrGordon can you link or mention where I can enquire about these x86 based 4x 2.5gbit port units... The price you mentioned seems too good to be true, even before taxes and shipping etc lol.

@vishalrao Sure

Barebone unit with N100 CPU with 4x2.5G Intel NICs. Price quoted was 100 USD before shipping and customs. RAM and storage you’d need to add yourself.

Another one with onboard RAM. The initial price quoted was as below.

N5105 cpu with onboard 8GB,the EXW price is $136.
N5105 cpu with onboard 16GB,the EXW price is $154.
N6005 cpu with onboard 8GB,the EXW price is $163.
N6005 cpu with onboard 16GB,the EXW price is $181.
