I am looking for a phone that has basically two features:

#1) Handwriting recognition (I find the regular T9 as well as the QWERTY keyboards or recent phones tedious and unimpressive, and don't mind the initial learning curve of handwriting recognition).
#2) A good organizer (i.e. calendar, to do) system.

I yearn for the schedule view found in palm OSes, like in the image below:

In essence I would want something like my old palm m100, but with a cellphone built into it. This I suppose would also mean that the screen size should be decent and not 128x128.

I am not interested in cameras unless it is more than 3 megapixels, has a flash and has good image quality, and I certainly don't care about GPRS, EDGE etc.

Price is irrelevant, as well as whether it is available in India or not.

So does such a phone exist?

no replies??? :(

Again I stress: price does not matter, and neither does availability in India.

ok, from what I can make out, it's available for Rs. 15,000 ... is that ccurate?also, i have little to no experience working on smartphones.... is there some sort of "Smart phones for dummies" website you know of? I just have many questions, such as whether I would be able to sync the calendar on the m600i with Google Calendar etc.

Yes, thats pretty close to the price - http://www.univercell.in/showMobile.asp?mno=260

And its a symbian OS phone - that says a lot about the range of software avaliable for it.
(just to illustrate, a certain someone happens to know that usually Symbian installers are 200 KB on average, and has 4 DVD-Rs full of software encompassing every category of software usually seen on PC - hows that for scale???? :D )
