Slow Netflix and High Ping

Hi Guys.
My location is Patna Bihar. I just have installed a new Railwire connection. The ping is very high compare to my last local ISPs.

I am on a 100Mbps 1500GB plan.
Railwire Kolkata, their server itself pings at >15ms always.
Netflix is damn slow, never goes more than 10Mbps on fast.com.

Is there any solution to this or it's just like this everywhere?

@imdarkray Which was your previous ISP ?
Your ping is definitely high. I'm in Jharkhand and get 6-8ms to Kolkata(Both speedtest and fast.com.
But the issue might even be temporary as it happens to me too. My plan is 100Mbps.
My speedtest results at this time:
The speed to fast . com is low for me as well. Hardly crosses 30Mbps.

@WandereR I was using Siti (Indinet) and Instanet (Shikhar Broadband). They both had better Ping. Siti started going off with the lockdown, but Instanet was good with some downtimes and some speed-cap times.
I believe this ping issue is not temporary. I talked with my LOC and he said he knows the reason and would talk with Railwire guys. He asked for two days to resolve this. let's hope for the best.
About fast. com speed test, I really need better speed for Netflix because I use it for streaming Netflix 4k HDR videos on 65inch TV. I took this connection, after reading here in the forum somewhere that they have peering with Google and Netflix. I have seen someone's post/screenshot showing more than 30Mbps on the 10Mbps plan.

@imdarkray Yeah Google is peered to Railwire which is obvious since Google had partnered with them for their Railway station project.
About Netflix, It is peered just like many other ISPs but only at DE-CIX Mumbai, where Railtel has 10Gbps connection.

Only Google, Youtube, Facebook, Amazon This sites are working nothing else is working nor any other websites or applications like steam origin etc currently. I'm using my phone to access this website to post this.

@WandereR This makes sense. I just hope they do something about Netflix's speed.
For my work, I have to be online and work on a remote desktop which is in Bangalore. Ping was about ~60ms (same as my old ISPs) for my remote machine over my office VPN connection.
One more thing I verified Fast .com speed is faster on VPN connections. So, it might be a routing issue.

@imdarkray Yes it's faster via VPN. I get 60Mbps to US server because the IP is wrongly shown as a US IP.

Yes, there's some issue with Netflix on Railwire, I talked with one of the guy, they are trying to fix it. Meanwhile sometimes it will work and sometimes you'll face slow speed.

@yr_1009 for me, It's always slow. Most of the time 5Mbps and sometimes around 9-10Mbps if I am in luck.

Yeah I am also facing the same issue for past 1-1.5 months. It used to 2-3 times of my plan speed earlier. I raised one ticket, railwire CC wrote transferred to concerned dept and closed my ticket.
