Slow speed and horrible pings in the evenings (almost coinciding with the IPL timings)

The above graph shows pings to 8.8.8.8 rising in the evening from 11 ms to 60 ms. It happened yesterday as well as today. I guess the inefficient method of broadcast (internet) is taking its toll on the Jio network. DTH/cable is much more efficient for one way "broadcasts."

May be it is my town. They are probably unable to handle the load because of surge in subscribers.
