Smartax Mt841 And Dataone Downloads

hi seshu,my smartax mt841 modem's ethernet ports are not working. i have cross checked all the configurations. as last thing i am trying to redownload the firmware.but i couldnt get the firmware.my currect firmware version is V100R001C01B021SP01 dated on 19 jul 2005. could you plesae give me the link for this version of firmware ?Thanks in advance.

will the Preferred DNS & Alternate DNS be the same for all dataone users? For me they gave 192.168.1.1 for both P.DNS & A.DNS

Hi Shankar , here is the Link for MT841 firmware
dated 23 Dec 2005 . 841 firmware (size : 1578 KB)

@ new guy , one may use the modem/router's address
as the preferred DNS . Alternate DNS address can be
given as 61.1.96.69 or 61.1.96.71 .

However I'd suggest to use 61.1.96.69 as the
preferred DNS and 61.1.96.71 as Alternate DNS .

in a BSNL document , different DNS addresses are
given for East , South , West & North sides . But
I donot recommend that as the above values are
working all over India .
