he told me on twitter that they are planning to launch a paid version with more features and options. i would get it seriously if it keeps the control on spam. TRAI is hopeless.

free app would of course continue. paid app can have more features. in case you have not noticed it right now, free one has ads on the notification window. not distracting though.

i tried anti spam sms in the past. did not work for me. that's why posted about this one.

as for a centralized database... this can only happen once the app is popular enough and is used by a lot of people.

true , but if it does have it at start , it would be easy to tell others to use too , showing that it has centralised databse of numbers.

personal opinion. 90% of acceptable numbers would already be on your address book. 5% would be already in your inbox. 5% can be managed by the popup that appears. i do not really need a centralized database of spam sms... it can cause more issues than benefits.

This is the same way like the anti spam feature of the KMS works on symbian. It white list the contacts in the phonebook. then wid every new sender one time it shows a pop to add sender to blacklist or white list. As simple as that.

it has blocked around 40 SMS since i installed it. seriously helping me with anger management issues.

How many of non spam sms does it block? Talking of spam sms, android phones do not allow sending more than 100sms in an hour. They allow but you get a popup saying a large number of sms are being sent....... Anyway to bypass that?
