Some queries regarding new connection in Chennai

Hi all,
I am from Kamarajapuram,Chennai.I want an unlimited broadband connection..I called ACT and they said they dont provide service in my area.The choices i have are Airtel,BSNL&Railwire.
I have some queries regarding these.Airtel is offering 75GB for 1100 bucksbut i need something below 900 INR.
BSNL's plans are like 3-6GB FUP beyond which the speed is 512kbps.
My query is 512kbps any good?Do pages load properly?
I had BSNL broadband connection until 2013 in Cuddalore.That was 750UL ie.,512kbps unlimited but i was getting 1 Mbps .Is such thing possible now?Did they provide such speed by mistake?Or should i go for Railwire(Someone said that these open connections have serious attack issues).

I am using RailWire and their plans are cheap and nice. Good speed and uptime. Only problem is it all depends upon your local cable operator and if you can manage with your operator and not so good responsive customer care. RailWire will help you.
