should i tell them to take 3D out of the TV so that a guy on IBF who is a fanboy of LED no matter what most experts might be sayingabout edge lit LEDs.
i don't have a single movie released in last 3-4 years which i liked thats is not in full 1080p on my hard disk and i don't mean 1080p in 4-5 GiB size buy 1080p in 15 to 25 GiB size (some even in 40GiB size).
@ admin .....you can ban me as i called this guy a retard but first ban him for not reading the whole thread before commenting .i was talking on and on about full hd in about 3-4 posts in this thread and now he tells me that i don't know what PQ and HD mean .

SAMSUNG PND8000 , Panasonic TC-PVT30 AND Sony HBR-929 . ALL three have recived same points in nearly every good website i've even been to with PND8000 recieving more points in some reviews . only sony's is LED and that too locally dimmed LED ( thats why it has recieved good review). both samsung and panasonic are plasmas and you're saying LED costs more because it has better picture quality . sony costs 800$ more than samsung and 600$ more than panasonic for same PQ according to experts . these three are the best TVs in the market....should i buy an LED just so that i can tell people its price ? before SONY HBR-929 came (it just came in the US) , not a single reviewer even thought of an LED showing better or even as-good-as-plasmas PQ in really big screen market . you can call me an idiot as i like spending my money wisely but don't call every expert a moron .

'Life' is good but "Planet Earth' is better.
'The Pacific' is good but 'Band of Brothers' is better.
As for 720p Vs. 1080p, I haven't personally compared between the two. But I've read reviews which suggested that on TV screens that are less than 55", it seems the difference is negligible. Even that is only when you watch the TV sitting at a distance less than 1.5 times the screen size.
i agree that 'Band of Brothers' is better but i thought most people would have watched that as it came out many years back .i was wrong in assuming that ( i know that now after being on this forum for some days).
i also agree that "Planet Earth" is better but i was talking just about the PQ of 'life' as it just came out and has better 'zoomed-in' shots as compared to Planet earth. but in terms of just the content 'Planet Earth' is better .

Ok Guys I recently purchased Sony EX52 Full HD Bravia LED TV 40inches for Rs.65,000 with Tata Sky HD Subscription pack for 6months and here's my Take on it, the HD Channels look Stunning on it but the normal standard definition channel looks grainish in color, I will give it 8 on 10 rating, a must buy for all.
