DTH is a dying platform of the 90's. It's almost irrelevant in cities where newer generations are fine watching on OTT platforms.

mom was concerned about this. message on tv was confusing.

i was thinking this was from tata play. but i guess it was from Sony. impressive if they are able to show this message exclusively to tata play subscribers.

i guess if it disappears, i can just add it manually.

As per Tata Play CEO, nobody watches Sony channels, so they are removing them from their packages. But channels can be subscribed separately A-la-carte.
One of my friend also said that Sony channels are leaving Tata Play, I told that they are just removed from package, but he said message is displayed on all Sony channels. For a while I thought Sony might actually pulling all their channels like they did decades ago with some DTH operator after their pricing negotiations failed. Channels were restored after few days.
