Haha yepp. WordPress's simplicitiy can't be matched.
Your code is fine except for the inline style tags which are not recommended. Also WP provides inbuilt classes for alignment which Twenty Twelve is using. Just use this

Here is the complete list of WordPress generated classes you can use provided your theme has included them which in your case is for sure because its Twenty Twelve.
