i still have the Galaxy nexus. i should be able to sell it for 15K to a friend who is interested in a good android based smartphone but does not want to spend more than 20K. and devil would probably be willing to accept by soul!

Yeah.. Its a decent buy if you cannot get hold of the Nexus 4 & yeah currently its just too tough to get hold of one...

And I think the devil takes pleasure in buying good souls. Why bother paying for ones which would be got free

What about after sale service?
Can anyone using Sony devices tell me about their after sales.

they dont have wide service network .

spares and service is bit expensive post warranty

planning does not really matter. i have the funds available. i need two things. the device has to be available and my friend has to visit india in the near future

this friend of mine is currently in india since december when he got me the nexus 7. he is unlikely to make another trip to india for another year at least. two years more likely.

so i am probably going to skip nexus 4 completely.

HTC quoted 12K to replace the display on One X. The phone cost was 35K. I am not sure if Sony could be more expensive

Well, if he can get it shipped from US? Would that be too expensive? And I AM talking about the next one after Nexus 4, which would say come out in this year-end.

1. Have avoided taking that route until now. I admit that it is pretty safe these days. Still, I prefer it hand delivered 2. I am hoping that Google would roll out an updated Nexus 4 in the next 2-3 months. With improved storage and LTE and hopefully a bump in internal specifications too.in any case, i have realized that i am no longer excited by these products. sure for 15 minutes. but after that... blah.already over xperia z.
