This app will help you create a message to report any unsolicited promotional SMS to TRAI.

Note: DND should be activated on your phone for this to work.
To activate DND, send (without quotes) "START 0" to 1909

After activating DND, if you still receive spam messages, then you can complain to TRAI. This app will help you to ease that process.

TRAI requires the SMS report to be in a particular format.
This app helps you generate a message in the format required by TRAI.

Steps:
1. Select the message that you think is unsolicited promotional message.
2. On selecting the message, your Messages app will open with the content already set.
3. Just hit send button to send the message.
4. You will receive an acknowledgement from your operator for the complaint.

After doing this for most of the messages, you will see that the spam messages will start reducing.

This is because TRAI take an action against people who do no obey DND rules.

I don't know how is umang called Govt of India initiative even though it is being run by spice group.

I cannot find why this was removed from the play store. Cannot find anything on twitter or reddit. VirusTotal marks this file as safe but that's not a guarantee that this is not a shady app.
