@Heyman yeah but I'm really disappointed with Jio! The upload speeds on 20MHz FDD bands are phenomenal. You get a full 45-50Mbps upload on 20MHz of FDD spectrum. Let's see how the 10MHz b5 and 10MHz b3 works out for Jio.

If a smartphone supports interband 2ca then band 5 (10 MHz) + band 3 (10 MHz) then you can theoretically get 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up.

Well indoor coverage problem of Airtel should improve as they have bought sub Ghz spectrum. They should deploy on every site now they have ample spectrum.

Now jio can provide 50 to 100 Mbps speed after deployment of additional spectrum. Speed will gradually decrease as the subscriber count increases.

1. FDD LTE uses frequency division, while TDD LTE uses time division
2. FDD LTE is full duplex, while TDD LTE is half duplex
3. FDD LTE is better for symmetric traffic, while TDD is better for asymmetric traffic

In laymal terms
FDD provides good upload speed and good download speeds as the there is separate spectrum for download as well as upload of data packets.

TDD has time based meaning certain time frame is given for download and upload (same amount of spectrum is used for download and upload of data packets) so telecom companies usually prefer to use it mostly for download
that's why band 40 provides good download but bad upload speeds, where as band 3 provides good downloads and good upload speeds.

Wow fuck you Jio. You should've taken 15MHz in B3, but instead you topped it to just 10MHz. Jio loves their TDD spectrum. With just 10MHz in B5, and 10 in B3, the upload speeds won't go above 30Mbps, while the download speeds will hit 300 to 500Mbps when aggregating them all.

Airtel got a nice 20MHz chunk in B3 in many states. Why the fuck did Jio not do the same?

I already told you jio will see marginal improvement only, that also will get diminished after further customer addition
