I can say unless mm wave is released by gov we cannot expect true 5g speeds especially in huge metropolitan cities,with the congestion and all taken into account.

Sorry to sound lame, how do we find out if operator is using SISO or 2x2 MIMO or 4*4 MIMO in each band ?

Also how do we find out what CA operator supports in my area, can we readily get information in any app or we find using trial and error method ?

In some document above in this thread, it was mentioned that some of the spectrum is available immediately. As payments have already been made, accordingly, did Jio/Airtel started using the new spectrum or will it take time for approval process to complete ?

I got my phone back on Saturday, still unable to unlock the bootloader I'm missing nsg, my favourite app. Second favourite is adaway. Third is Youtube Vanced. Complete ad free.

Anyway, missing NSG so that I can lock bands to 3+5 for the time being, to see how much speed I can get. Gonna give the phone back on Saturday again.

You will have to wait till mid April, to the first week of May for the new spectrum to be enabled. Hopefully Jio will make some additional network tweaks so that interference is reduced, thus increasing the spectral efficiency of the current spectrum.

So if a cell site is running 2g on 900 mhz can it be realigned to b8 without any new antennas, or something.
