This is band 40 in Maharashtra.

Anyway, airtel brought band 5 in MH, right? I guess they need time to deploy new antenna since airtel did not have anything lower than b3 1800mhz before in MH?

@blueman24 yeah, but airtel uses multi band antennas everywhere so with minor tweaks in towers they can rollout quickly

Worst Optimisation even with Fiber Backhaul ping hikes even in 1+3 CA

I have a strange problem with airtel. The airtel cell site is very near to me, but I only get band 3 signal most of the time. In order to get my phone to latch to b40 or even b1, I have to physically move away from the site. Any idea how to fix this?

@blueman24 Airtel has configured ur site like that you have to lock band no other way

This issue is there since 2019 when even 3CA 3+40+40 used to slow down 0.5Mbps with 300ms pings but those were Microwave Backhaul days but now even with Fiber same issues
