I mean about paying royalties to Quallcom they can do in case if the hardware is present in the device, but why would they do it they could do it in some premium smartphones but selling a new smartphone fetch more revenue for the company.

Jio has upgraded B3 in Telangana(AP Circle) to 10Mhz, new earfcn is 1251 [Old one was 1234]. I dont see any changes yet in B5 or B40.

I can see new neighbour cell of B5 with Earfcn 2444, along with old B5 earfcn 2540.This might be new 5MHz . So B5 deployed was separate 5 + 5Mhz, is this same across all circles or is it contigous?

They're deploying 20+20 still not deployed in TN KA KL

Airtel recently converted 40A-40A to 40C in Chennai and TN

Jio will add 10 MHz to the existing 10 MHz chunk to make it 20. Airtel is still occupying what Jio needs to takeover. So there will be delay. Until then 5+5 B5, 10 MHz B3 will be the new updates to the network
