Speculation: Reliance might take over BSNL soon

I have heard Accenture is in the process of acquiring controlling stake in HCL tech :)
 
I am quite sure that the feeling was the same before Tata acquired VSNL. I remember visiting their Delhi office with a friend to buy dial up recharge cards which were not easily accessible here in Gurgaon.
 
There is a minor difference in that Tata was already running the infrastructure for VSNL (correct me if wrong). But BSNL it may not be so easy, but wont rule out either.
 
It's not going to be easy of course. And I do not see why Congress would take such a big risk with elections next year. BSNL babus around the country going on a hartal would cripple a lot of infrastructure.
 
I'd like tosee Reliance Jio take over Airtel.
Even better would be Google taking over BSNL or Airtel or You Telecom (100 percent FDI in telecom was announced recently I guess) .
