Hi,
Coming directly to the point ..
I changed my plan from 750ULD-Combo to 900ULD-combo (4mbps upto 8Gb 512 kbps post FUP)
On 29 my plant was changed and it was also changed in the Portal
I received the call from BSNL that plan is changed and you will be getting speed..
But I am getting 1.7mbps download speed and not 4mbps.. i.e. Download speed is 210KB/s and not ~500KB/s

I called BSNL and reported the problem but they said that u will be getting speed from 1st of feb ..
I said "Ok "
but according to me , I am not getting speed is due to the fact that my line is capped @ 2044kbps as seed in the stats of modem ..
because if I was getting 512 kbps as FUP then my speed should not be popped at 210 KB/s (because previously I was getting 512 kbps since I already finished 6gb )
It simply means that my plan is changed but speed is slow due to line ..(*may be )

I again called BSNL and reported the problem and received the same response (You willl get speed after 1st)
But the point is if my line is capped than how the f**k I will get speed :/

Here is the stats :

So guys help me what should I do ?
Where to complaint regarding this ..

Rate (Kbps): 2044 943tHIS Value should be above 4mbpsYou should complaint to Broadband JE in your area,so that they will change the speed of the portMind you that your are dealing with Bsnl and you may not the result in first instance. you may have repeatedly ask to change the port speedif you get this done in first instance you are luckyFirst they will ask to check broadband speed in dataone.in > Customer Zone > ADSL Speed Testerso first check your speed in there and tell them that i have check in that site and i am getting this speed

Thanx 4 ur response ...
I am going to contact them tomorrow ..
I know BSNL don't move their ass unless they are continuously pinched again n again

This is a very common problem with moving to 4mbps plans . All port are by default are limited to 2mbps

Ask someone at BSNL to reset you speed profile. Tell them data rate is less.

My speed profile has been changed and new line stats is :

But the problem is that, they have just popped my line to *4mbps data rate due to which my speed never cross more than 3.4 mbps ..

I told them about this and they ignored directly that it can not be increased more. .
However I am not getting 4mbps(not even 3.8mbps :\ ) in 4mbps connection ...
Now mailed to NIB for further queries ....

Can we bribe bsnl employ to give us full 4mbps without fup?
I don't think so ..

How can you check your speed profile in BSNL ?you will get speed upto 3.7 because "Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 4092" because in Airtel it is near about 4500 and we get 4.1 4.2 mbps in speedtest.

I don't think so ..

From torrents my speed is 350-380kB/s and from a website like mediafire or ftp my speed is 450kB/s
So it's nearly 3.5mbps in ftp and not even 3mbps in torrents...

You get it right but BSNL doesn't !
I get maximum of 3.45mbps even at night hours ..
I will never gonna get *4mbps* because the line rate should be atleast more than 4mbps (preferred 5mbps) in my case it is exact 4092kbps (4mbps=4096kbps)
I told this thing to SDO and NIB , but they said that we can change speed profile because you are on 4mbps plan -_-
DUMB BSNL :@
