Not sure how much of it is true and how plot could turn up.

Thing is, it resembles the animated spiderverse movie - hope they manage to keep it fresh.

From what I have been reading, spider verse is not a new concept. It has been deep part of spider man comics so it is bound to appear in cinematic movies. Sony did a great job with the animated movie.

Right. That's understandable. But I am saying if it will great if they can avoid too many similarities, considering the animation is not too old

Sony Moves Quickly to Block Alleged ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Trailer Leak on Social Media

Fans have been champing at the bit for the first look at the superhero installment amid swirling rumors about who may show up from previous Spider-Man films.

The trailer was supposed to be released today, but someone couldn't wait 24 hours and leaked an unfinished version. Worst part? The name of the VFX artist was plastered on it. If that artist is not involved (chances are not), it will still be very damaging for that person.

And this is not a Marvel movie because if it were, the trailer would have been released officially soon. Sony does stuff differently. So either the trailer will be delayed further, or an entirely different version will go online.

Nowadays people are leaking trailers as well, and companies are taking care to block it as well
Just release the damn trailer and get publicity.
