i had been recieving animal planet for the past few days in my scv cable conection. today morning when i selected tat channel i saw tat star cricket was coming instead. after the match got over i started getting eyarkai tv.

i keep on hearing these things from my friends and relatives.. they say, some pay channels are given by cable operator free of cost willingly...:confused:

some are getting ten sports some days, animal planet some days...
 
It is a play of cable operators..bcz they dont want to loose their customers to sun direct .. i also heard from my cable wala as.." from jan 1 onwards no pay channels all are free from arasu cable vission " I dont think it is possible ..
 
But why are they (SCV) removing the channel after each day's play of the test match. We would love to watch the highlights of the game as well. For me, STAR CRICKET is very dull and it is coming with a lot of disturbances. Anyone experiencing the same ???
 
Now it's not available as the first test has ended. On Match days you can find the channel between DD1 and Sun Music. Now it is showing Animal Planet.
 
now they ve started to show HBO channel free in chennai.. for scv subscribers... :hysterical:... soon they will start to show all pay channels... ha ha
 
I am not getting any pay channels..i think that scv is not giving pay channels signal..it is local cable walla who is using his technical knowledge to show some pay channels to his subscribers...

Yes Arun,its the cable operators who is doing the tricks.They are getting the feed from Tata Sky/Dish TV.Iam getting Animal Planet,HBO and Ten Sports/Start Cricket.HBO is from Dish TV and the others are from Tata Sky.But Animal Panet clarity is not good.Others are OK.Infact my cable operator has inforemd 2 months back that from DEC-1 onwards they will give 1 sports,1 Eng.Movie,1 Dcoumentry channels.
 
im not getting star cricket in cable............may be local cable operators are adding star cricket.......
