I am on CAS (Asianet - DTV) and am getting those pixelation in star cricket. I was about to write a bad review on ADTV for this, when I saw your post. So its Mr. Murdoch to blame and not my little old CAS.

Dont waste your money by subscribing ESS and Star Cricket :wall:
They are money suckers.

Thats a very valid point you have raised Ayan :thumb:. We all go gaga about watching cricket free on doordarshan, but we cannot see all matches. As they say "There are no free lunches ..........................."

that's a point which always runs on my mind but very few in this forum understands my point

Thats not bcoz of any camera failures or cable problem or grain effect. Its bcoz in many CAS and DTHs most of channels are compressed using MPEG 2 codecs. New DTHs like Airtel and Big TV are less prone to this with MPEG4 but still a bit. Problem is only with channels that require high bandwidth. Bcoz more data needs to be displayed. If u shift to old analog cable u can clearly see that it contains more details in grass at stadium though dots are there. This problem is prominent in LCDs or plasmas as picture is strtched a bit. Due to high compression, may be more than required , boxes appear during fast scenes. We can do nothing but wait and watch for better qulaity DTH. So more no of channels in DTH , more if this problem.

Is there any relationship with Live watching of matches and pixelation??

Posting bcoz many people with same problem will hit this thread some time , same as me. And i face the same problem now.
