According to industry sources, the new channel is most likely to be a free-to-air (FTA) channel. Star currently owns and operates two pay Hindi movie channels, namely Star Gold and Movies OK. Star India’s Hindi film library is in excess of 1,200 titles. Star has an FTA Hindi entertainment channel in Star Utsav, which is also available on Freedish.
