I have been sticking with their Vanilla Latte for a few weeks now. I guess I would have to try this out on my next visit!

I would rather enjoy a nice latte. The amount of sugar in those above drinks is maddening lol.

CCD coffee used to be at one point really good but now their coffee tastes just weird and non enjoyable.

A booklet thingy that you might need to carry sounds like a horrible program.

premium coffee with CHONCHALA BAAZI.
in the age of everything getting digital, Its like you need to carry a Passbook to the ATM.
with the premium price they charge, they should have made this based on simple phone number based logs, or based on account ID.
the one like "payback" where you can just tell the registered mobile number if you are not carrying the payback card to the eligible store.

Haven't been to starbucks (in India) till now.
Not sure if I will make use of that loyalty card due to the rates.

Rates are high yes. But not that high compared to what you pay at CCD or Costa around here in Gurgaon. I remember the first time I had coffee at Barista when it was still owned by Tata. Paying Rs. 55 for a cup of hot coffee was well not a nice feeling. Today the same costs you in the range of Rs. 150-300. The good thing is that CCD coffee is usually undrinkable (my own experience). Starbucks is quite decent in comparison.
