So, I started watching this because the second season of Six Feet Under turned out to be corrupted. Liking it so far. There are a few issues though…

The characters are pretty similar to the SG-1 team. John Sheppard is an exact duplicate of Jack O'Neill for example.

I have not reached the stage where the character of Ronon Dex joins them. And I am seriously not looking forward to Samantha Carter replacing Elizabeth Weir as I have heard she does (not sure though).

I also see that Jewel Staite would be joining the cast as well. That should be nice. She was in Firefly!

A lot of episodes have similar stories to SG-1. The concept is also on the similar lines. Some shit happens and things are not looking good but everything magically fix up in the last 2 minutes of the episode. Most of the stories are independent in nature just like SG-1. Few stories are divided into two episodes.

Also this:

Actor that plays Simon, Elizabeth Weir's husband is the same actor that played Narim of the Tollan in SG-1 :D Especially funny considering Weir was in SG-1 too for a few episodes.

This show makes me laugh so much. Carter has still not replaced Weir. I am in the middle of season 3. I guess last two seasons are with Carter. Sad panda.

Carter is for 1 season and their hated boss (the short guy with specs) is the in chief in final season if memory serves right. Carter was alright in her role but they killed off any sexual chemistry between her and McKay and that's why it was not as awesome as between Weir and Sheppard.

What have they done! They killed the doctor in season 3. Similar to how they killed the lady doctor in SG-1 during one of the mid seasons. lol.
I mean I pretty much predicted that they are going to kill Carson the way they were focused on him. He rarely get so much footage.
lol. wikipedia tells me that a clone appears later in the series. lol.

I love how they land on alien technologies which has not been touched for like 10,000 years and almost immediately Rodney would guess what it is and how it can be operated. And how he is able to just turn it on and even learn how to operate it efficiently. But only if the story demands... Otherwise, they would have to do something else and that is where John would come in with his military expertise.

Season 4 Episode 3... Carter takes over. lol. They just had to make a replicator out of Weir to get her out of the picture. Not amused.

Amanda Tapping starred in one of the episodes of 'The X-Files' as a prostitute :tongue:Her role lasted only for 10 mins though.

hehe. search for her on google images... i get quite conflicting images. almost feels like you are searching for an adult actress.

Dana Scully is an amazing actress. I love her character in Hannibal.
errm. I mean Gillian Anderson.
