State of Petrol, Diesel, CNG and LPG prices in India

revas do not sell here in india coz they are as expensive as santros and altos here. they are in demand in london and bulk of the production cars are exported to UK.as for civic hybrid. civic is a popular model. the hybrid would attract a lot more customers if it was not priced double the price of the regular model.and both toyota and honda are very eager to bring more of their hybrid models here in india. if only the government does not charge them 100+% import duty...think about the possibility of buying an hybrid city? they can make it if they see the benefit. reva should easily be sold for close to Rs. 1.5 lakhs if the company is not required to pay heavy taxes on batteries and other imported equipment. it would have been the better alternative to tata nano considering its pollution free.alright. i know it uses electricity which uses thermal power which eats up forests and shite. it still is a environment friendly car. the government fails as they are not expanding nuclear power plant scope in india.heh broadband is rather cheap for me. i pay as much for one month of broadband as i pay for a tank full of petrol. that tank full of petrol would hardly last me 2 days if i were to go on a long drive. broadband is unlimited and it works for the entire month.

quite appropriate.... there should be rules like no import duty on hybrid & electric cars. also additional discounts like no registration & road tax, etc. will make a huge diff. in the price. at least this much the govt can do to reduce the import of more crude oil

If farmers can get subsidies why not me??????????????? Gimme BB over Cheap gas any day

If farmers start listing the facilities you get and he dont then you will be in trouble. They are already commiting suicides, its hardly anything you can take it away from them.

Fact is prices of fuel are never going to come down or stable, rather will keep increasing ever, expect more in coming days. Indian govt should seriously start working on alternatives of fuel. We've got solar energy on abundant, subsidise the gadgets needed for harnessing the solar enery and make it available at cheaper rates to common masses.
People need to change the attitude, should give more stress on public transporataion, look at france, being the richer nation many of them prefer bikes. Pleasure cars should be used not much often. If not now then its gonna happen sooner or later.

yeah... ethanol is cheaper than petrol. ethanol fuel rates must be half of the petrol. still there are no signs of selling

already, public transport here in Karnataka are planning to rise ticket fares, they are sure going to do this

Dear Friends !!!

Petrol in Pakistan Rs. 17 per litre
Malaysia Rs. 18 per litre
In India it's Rs. 48 per litre
In Sri Lanka it is Rs. 157 per litre

Why this difference in Asia itself?
World Market CRUDE Oil is not
the reason for this.
It's all Gain for private owners?
As we are the general public, or
Common Man as R.K.Laxman would
have said, we have to raise our voice,
let's raise thru Emails.

Forward this to all
Indians and Sri Lankans who cares.

IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF
EVERYONE DID NOT PURCHASE A
DROP OF PETROL FOR ONE DAY
AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME,
THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD
CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.

AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT
THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A
NET LOSS OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS
WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES
OF THE OIL COMPANIES.

THEREFORE 'Friday 13th June'
HAS BEEN DECLARED
'STICK IT UP THEIR BEHIND' DAY
AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION
SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP
OF PETROL THAT DAY.

THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS
IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS
MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND AS
QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE
WORD OUT. WAITING ON THE
GOVERNMENT TO STEP IN AND
CONTROL THE PRICES IS NOT GOING
TO HAPPEN.

REMEMBER ONE THING, NOT ONLY
IS THE PRICE OF PETROL GOING UP
BUT AT THE SAME TIME, AIRLINES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES,
TRUCKING COMPANIES ARE FORCED
TO RAISE THEIR PRICES WHICH AFFECTS
PRICES ON EVERYTHING THAT IS
SHIPPED. THINGS LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, BUILDING SUPPLIES MEDICAL SUPPLIES
ETC.

WHO PAYS IN THE END?

WE DO!

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
IF THEY DON'T GET THE MESSAGE
AFTER ONE DAY, WE WILL DO IT
AGAIN AND AGAIN. SO DO YOUR
PART AND SPREAD THE WORD.
FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO
EVERYONE YOU KNOW .
MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND MAKE
June 13th A DAY THAT THE
CITIZENS SAY

'ENOUGH IS ENOUGH'

We forward so many junk email to
many of our friends, now let us do it
for some useful cause to cut down the
price of the petrol .. ....

REMEMBER :
June 13th Friday 2008
