Status LED stops blinking and Router page isn't opening!!

^^Used IE,firefox,and opera.guys this is not some software problem IMO,I think one of the hardware component is not working correctly and I don't know which one.

1.Disable IPV6( in TCP/IP properties) and try. problems were reported earlier.
OR
2. If you have USB port in the modem try with the drivers loaded.
First load the drivers to say C:/usbport connect modem to computer . Let it detect new hardware.
( assuming your modem ethernet port/output is damaged )

^^1.Disabled IPV6.Waiting for results.2.No usb port in my router,only 4 ethernet ports.

1.I had struck off the comment about IPV6! If it works it is your luck !2.Last trystart/network/lan/properties/TCP/IP properties select assign IP address automatically.use open dns 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.222.2223.Better you try to exchange the router, or test it at a friend's house.BSNL exchanges modems without any questions.Whether they repair them and again & recycle , I don't know.

Are u sure about BSNL allows exchanging of modem ? I had requested for seimens modem, in exchange for my 300r2u. They flatly denied it. Told me to exchange among my friends

If it is not working they replace it in my Exchange. I got AxMT882 for Ut300R2U which the BSNLTechnical Asst checked and certified ,as faulty.It all depends how the staff at a particular exchange decide. We even exchanged an old AxMT882 in working condition ( fully paid) for a new one.No questions asked.
