The cdma boys being pushed into 4G or 40G was bound to happen at some point in time,
The matter is whether the cdma pricing continues?

Rcom has partenered with Paytm for 4G handsets.
6 mobiles are visible on the offer page.
4G sim will be shipped but this offer is for existing Rcom cdma customers.

Prepaid balance will be carry forward but no word on postpaid plans.

I had 4 CDMA number, but moved all to Reliance GSM one month back. Still has one active CDMA number but that is on non-sim handset (Sprint Galaxy nexus) for which battery is not working. Now I will revive the handset just to get taste of JIO Sim

You don't have to do that. Just go with your ID proof and tell them it's your number. They will check their database, and if everything matches, they're most likely to give your the SIM.

RCOM is going to launch 4G LTE services on 4th May 2016, But This is only for xisting CDMA Customers. 4G Sims are in Retail Stocks. Activation will start from 4th may... Finger Crossed!!!
