Hi, I got my New Mtnl Unlimited Plan yesterday, I am unable to forward port for P2P Client, My Moderm is (Sterlite SAM300AX).IP Address: 192.168.1.xSubnet Mask: 255.255.255.0Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1DNS Servers: 4.2.2.2 , 59.179.243.xxPlease help me :pleasehelp:

Even I was never able to forward ports successfully. Those damn p2p clients just didn't work properly. In the end I set my kaspersky internet security firewall to one level above the default low level, enabled DMZ inside my router, finished all my fully legal downloading/uploading, disabled DMZ inside router and then switched the software firewall back to default. There that wasn't so hard was it :thumbsup:

do you face any error while port forwarding? look at PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall for tutorials

Hi, Thanks for reply,

Yes I have tried Port forwarding guide, I've successfully forwarded the port on my modem before (was different modem).

Error I am getting is : An error has occurred!

Port 45682 does not appear to be open.

I've been doing exactly what is written in Port forwarding guide.

Here is what I did and I think that's all I am suppose to do, but its not working :(

1.any page like this?
using \"dialer\" mode or\" always On\"
silly question! sould be latter. confirm.

2
.Open Port Check Tool
check port/s is/are open.

3.Check Windows Firewall and in any other FW application.
enable this application.

1. I am not using Dialer, Connection is always on.

2. Port is not open.

3. Not using windows firewall and using AVG FREE (I dont think it has Firewall)
