Strange Speed ??!!!?

Ok so like I just formatted my computer and was downloading stuff. So at about 3pm i noticed this strange speed for every file i downloaded. The downloaded started at about 10mBps:yahoo: and then decreased by 0.1mBps every second and went down till around 250kBps. the moment i used to pause the download and resume it the speed would revert to 10mBps and then again decrease by 0.1 mBps every second. speedtest shows only 801 kbps download speed. Any thoughts on this!:thumbsup:

Yes, it is called cache! When you pause the download, it doesn't actually pause, the data is still being downloaded in the background. When you resume, all that data that was downloaded in the background has to be added to the stats, result is the fake burst in speed! Same thing when starting a download, it starts the moment you click the link, till the time you decide to save etc.. it is downloading, hence, again the fake speeds.
