Just ignore their communication. They cant do shit. By sending this letter, they are just trying to scare people into making some payments. If they agree to a settlement, tell them you are willing to pay 2000 maximum as you never used their services and got fake bills. They may have sold their bad debt to a third party collection agency who is now trying to recover and make a profit. So they may settle with you.

My case with Reliance Netconnect:
I disconnected my datacard connection and at that point they charge me 250rs. which i ignore,.but after 2 mnths a lawyer of whose credentials i cannot confirm calls me and threatens me in a subtle manner to deposit a sum of 500rs, failing which i would be liable for prosecution. Next DAY i settle my bill it rworld case closed,

you should really talk to people who have had similiar experiences. I am sure ur not going to pay 41000rs., thik hai mat dena , unke bapp k maal thodi n hai aur 41000 koi mazak nahi hai par confirm kar lo aap ki isse koi problem to nahi hogi. baad me by searching on google for similiar posts or people with similiar experience.Also search for customers in samadhan scheme and learn what they did

Ok guys... Another more update My Mom told me today.That already we have given BSNL a sum of Rs 3000 as security deposit when we have taken our telephone connection.I am trying to find out that payment slip approval also.Hope i will get it within 2 days.
I have gone to Bsnl office & talked with there AOTR, I requested to AOTR that how this Bill is being given to me>> & he said i have to pay RS.18000 to them bcz that what i used.I don't know what they have calculated.I said i dont have that much money to pay & can pay on;y Rs 3000 & my security deposit of rs.3000 is already deposited.So total Rs. 6000. The AOTR said that if i want to deduct more then he can do nothing & i have to talk with Cheif Account Officer on next week.Any one have any idea?? What should & can the Cheif Account officer will do?? Will he deduct more money??I will take Rs.8000 cash with me on next week when i will go talk with cheif accounts officer,so that i can complete all the settlement on that same day?Any more letter & procedure needed?? If yes..Then pls guide me .so that i can take all the neccessary with me on that day.Thankx.
Before payment ask for every single detail of how the bill went up to 41000. You should get your bill in written or typed. Tally that with the bills you already paid.
If they say you consumed so many GBs then ask them to pull those server logs. If you think you don't deserve to pay this then go deep into every detail of every charge put on the bill.
