Suggest a broadband connection in Salt Lake, Kolkata

This is bullshit. Even I am having the same problem on airtel for the last 3 days. The link gets reset every 10 - 15 mins while browsing, and then when I'm connected again, I'm redirected to the smart bytes page. They're just trying to irritate us into buying more data packs. issed-off: :nono:
Could anyone suggest some good connections to opt for in Salt Lake, Kolkata. I'm kinda biased towards wishnet 1000 plan, but I dunno if they provide service here and I wanna know the other options.

A friend of mine resides in the same area as you. Wishnet is working well for him. Give it a try.

I called up my local cable operator and asked them if they offered Wishnet services and they said no. Then I called up wishnet on the helpline number provided on their site and the person on the other end could not tell me what to do if I wanted a wishnet connection specifically, except call my cable operator. My cable operator offers only PMPL Meghbela and I had no other choice but to opt for it. Though I heard their services are pretty good too, and they have uncapped local peering which nobody else offers.

A friend of mine resides in the same area as you. Wishnet is working well for him. Give it a try.

Could you ask him for the address or the contact no for the local wishnet office in my area?

Why not try BSNL?
