thats why its better to go for a phone with regular headphone jack... moto rokr has that i think :-s

i hate it that Nokia has two types of connectors... i cant use my phone's handsfree with mom's nokia phone!
Yup moto rokr has the 3.5 mm jack i just bought one yesterday

If u can stretch your budget to 13k this is an amazing phone - good looks , real player , touch screen , linux OS and dedicated music keys

The only other phones i know which support the 3.5 mm jack are N91 and nokia 3250 but Sony has a 3.5 connector jack whose one end will go in the pop up port and in the other you can plugin 3.5 mm headphones , it has an fm radio also

@ cyberwiz im 15 :P:P:P:P

Mr Max is really becoming fond of meaculpa..he cant read a single post of hers without dissecting it from any and every angle..:P

FOND????? Did you read what he has been writing??

You are quite right - the youngest member is 15 - and if I am double that age (actually 2.5 times), I AM a senior citizen on this forum!!

Nice to see girls and women on this forum . Something which i did not anticipate. Perhaps the bhartiya nari is the only capable person who can take our broadband related complaints to the government and bring a revolution in broadband in india . :D

BTW youngest member shld be around 16 ..so double = 32 ..and senior citizen = 60.. doesnt add up..sorry i cant read it as senior citizen :( :P

Obviously you didn't get what she meant. Shes relatively old as compared to the youngest member of this board. Hence, the senior citizen remark.

What?! :O I hope you weren't offended by what I've written. I'm a straight forward person. It was never meant to be taken personally. I apologize if you thought that way...

How much memory is required for mp3 phones? At 1MB per minute, 256MB must be sufficient for 4 hour music. Of course, those who do not have regular access to computer must transfer GBs of music whenever they get a chance. What is the average music listening time and how many songs per week? Just curious. My estimate is half an hour per day. Why does anyone need 1 or 2 GB memory? My observation is - all those who talk on a mobile look bright and animated; but those listening to music are morose and act as if they are deaf (with a blank face).

I totally agree that a rational person can survive with 256MB memory on their phones. Unfortunately, music is so mood driven that you'll always miss the song which is NOT on your phone, at a time when you can't transfer it! Which is why 1 GB helps.

@cyberwiz : hehe :thumbsup:
Max, thanks for the apology, it was overdue - and gracefully accepted. :P
