i assume he is getting a sane machine for his work. if not, its always good to have a kick-ass machine which you can play around with after a day's hard work.

Asus P5Q does seem good value for money now. It's easily available in India with most vendors. I was quoted these prices in Pune:

ASUS P5Q Rs. 8,250/-
ASUS P5Q PRO Rs 9,200/-
ASUS P5Q E Rs. 10,500/-
ASUS P5Q Deluxe RS. 12,500/-

The P5Q Deluxe and P5QE models have Splashtop a.k.a Express Gate which I am REALLY interested in. Check out this cool video :rofl: No kidding though, Express Gate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splashtop is cool.
