hi guyz,i have moved to pune and have no clue which plan to go for here, as in delhi i was using mtnl 749NU and was very satisfied with that. Now, in pune (Baner to be precise) we are 4 guyz sharing a flat together and we need a (or two, if necessary) fully unlimited/night unlimited plan, so ppl suggest me few plans that aren't too heavy on the pocket(when divided into four) and offer atleast 512Kbps speed and most importantly the service should be good. Thanks in advance for replying :)P.S: i do not want to opt for bsnl 2am-8am NU plan.

You have two options:

[*]Airtel 1499 Plus (512 Kbps unlimited) - Costs Rs. 1499 + taxes.
[*]BSNL Home UL1350+ (512 Kbps unlimited) - Costs Rs. 1350 + taxes.
[/list]
Ofcourse, you will get a free landline (with 0 rental) with both the ISPs. Looks like you guys are students. You'll have to submit some proof (Photo ID and Address proof)!

I would suggest you to go ahead with Airtel. Airtel broband is most probably available in Baner. To confirm, call +912044444121 or visit the nearest Airtel Relationship Center (ARC).

If Airtel is not available in your area, then only go for BSNL. Don't even think of any other ISP like Reliance, TATA or Hathway.

Happy diwali!

Good to See .. participation from pune ... !!!

Even i am going in for BSNL :-)

Ya, lately I have seen many people from Pune coming up and posting in tech forums. That's nice!

So which plan have you chosen?

thanks again everyone. :thumb:i have taken tata indicom's Bb and got a night UL top-up on it.Since we 4 wanted to share this connection, so we bought an Pronet 108Mbps wireless router. Now the issue is, with the wireless router i am getting one fourth speed as compared to direct cable line.:@And another thing when i connect to that wireless router it shows 54Mbps connected, shouldn't it be showing 108Mbps instead ??So kindly suggest me some way to fully utilize my connection bandwidth using my wireless router....

Hi all,If you are really looking for best service and best speeds then just dont think at all and get and go for BSNL.I have been using BSNL since 4 years and till today not even once i found server down or speed problem.Plans for BSNL are good as compared to other ISP.i was thinking for airtel but they couldnt provide me the same.BSNL is the best ISP in INDIA.it rocks man
