Hi..
Im sure, those BSNL Terracom modems are just crap.
Since the very day, I have seen those terracom here, I have lost business in 4 figures. Damn it.

Terracom also a problem with electricity supply.

So, right now, Im first looking to get a good modem first of all.

What I need is,
1. A stable modem with greater performance. You can suggest from Linksys or D-Link.

2. Need the ability to do this, Access Your Local Web Server From Anywhere « Prakash's Cogitations

Please suggest now.

For wireless, Im going to use DLINK DIR-615 to this new modem.

I was checking this,
D-Link ADSL2/2+ compliant GLB-802C Router Introduced in India

Not sure, if it can do that Virtual server setup thingy.

Also, I have heard, there are some Linksys modems, which are good, but no idea about their models.

I use the Cisco Linksys WRT120N Modem+Router and I am far from happy with it :) (WAG120N - model)

Although I can't understand the ability to do that since the blog post doesn't really explain what it is.

*You can, use DDNS services like DynDNS for using dynamic ip into a static subdomain.
*If you are looking to host your website under your computer, it is possible for this router to forward http requests (8080 ports also) to the specific computer having the web server.

I am open to share the pics of above if you want :)
