Sun Direct DTH start next month

We don't need to take all SUN channels on our TP because Sun DTH will be come on same satellite Insat 4B and Dish Tv and Sun tv will follow same thing as we do with DD DTH.

You cannot watch Sun DTH without subscribtion. More over it would be in MPEG 4. As Thendral said you need a mpeg4 receiver for that.

no i dont think they will take it from insat 4b. as they will have to encrypt it with their own smart card.

sun direct cant survive with only its home and other southern channels. it has to cater to the needs of all the masses. it cant exclude sports channels and the other english movie channels, apart from hindi channels. so it has to necessarily have a compromise with zee and star groups. who will buy if one cant see a cricket match. india lives on cricket.Unless they offer a bouquet to satisfy all range of customers they can't capture a sustainable market share. dishtv and Tata Sky are already established. if it is found that sun's offer is not comparable to what is given by them, no one will turn towards them. certainly not me.:madness:
