Sun Direct, the direct-to-home (DTH) service provider owned by the Maran family and Astro Group of Malaysia, will offer the Fox bouquet of international channels in India.

The platform has started offering Fox TV (FX), FoxCrime and Baby TV, besides a Hollywood movie channel, WB (Warner Bros) since April 1. In addition, it also introduced Real TV, a new Hindi entertainment channel recently launched and distributed by Zee Turner.

"We are revolutionising television viewing in this country by bringing in the most happening channels from the world. The content is quite exciting and addition of these new channels takes us one notch above the rest." said Tony D'Silva, chief operating officer, Sun Direct.

While Fox TV offers humour and entertainment for savvy male and female viewers who are looking for premium entertainment, FoxCrime offers crime, investigation and mystery entertainment round-the-clock. Baby TV offers content dedicated to children below three years of age and their parents, even as WB will offer Hollywood's biggest and best movies.

All these five channels will be available in the basic bouquet of channels offered by Sun Direct, which presently has over 130 channels and 31 radio channels for an introductory offer of Rs 499 (5 months subscription), along with free dish and set top box, excluding installation charges.

As a member visiting TS section more often I thought from the post there that it will first come on TS but it never happend and it came in SD.

Me thought it would be on TS first, its a great news the SD has launched these channels on its platform first, and most of the cable operators are also not offering fox channels.

Sun Direct giving them for Rs.75 per month but TS even after we pay Rs.415 per month can't get it :@
