TS ofcourse.. U will get more infrmation by contacting people in sun network.. Or keep urself updated with indiantelevision.com..
Kunal i have contacted sun tv people 2 days back and they told me that they will start the Sun DTH in 2 weeks time and added that rates/packages they will put up in few days but he also added that at the max they will start the service with in september.:thumbsup:

I'm not sure why they would want to ncrease the rates..
Already they are charging high rates for the channels..
Hopefully they do not put the burden on us! I dont want to see my cable guy again!

dear Kunal, i am afraid you will have to see your cable guy again.. b;'coz tataksy has increased the rates.. 200rs for just south channels.. does not have Ten sports in it, and still can't find Neo sports also ..

Me too but i am not against the rate increased by Tata Sky. But it would have been great if we had a package like language wise where they could have dealt with. I still fell i am a tamilian i will watch tamil channels unless if i am interested in other south language i should not subscribe to it but i do watch hindi channels too. My package at the moment will be the same what i am getting now and i will not subscribe to any new package until neosports come. Then i will think of moving to new packages.

Well.I am marathi viewer.I need 2 to 3 new marathi.Not for me.But for my mother and sister.I only watch sports and news channels.Hope they will provide marathi package soon.Till then I will have to subscribe to cable also.

Tata Sky's Price Packaging Sucks ! It will be a Flop in South

So Guys Tata Sky has increased their subscription rate from Rs.300/- to Rs.350/- if you need to watch all the Channels. Dish TVs package is much better than Tata Sky.
Tata Sky Package Should have been like this
Tamil / Malayalam
Asianet, Asianet Plus, Asianet News, Surya, Kiran, Kairali, Kairali People, Kairali We, Amrita, Jeevan, Manorama News, IndiaVision, YES (Indiavision), Bhaarath TV, Jai Hind + Tamil Channels (I do not know the list)
Kannada / Telugu
(Somebody please list the number of channels available in Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh)
These should have covered the taste of the South Indians + the rest of the English / Hindi channels which is available on their platform.

The package is designed in someway that a South Indian is forced to take the South Jumbo pack so that he can get all the South Indian Channels (because in the other two packages Surya TV & Kiran TV is missing) and in the other package Asianet and Others are available.

SO let us all wait and watch Until Reliance, Bharti and SUN DIRECT has to offer ?
What is your opinion on this?

Hi, Majority of TV Viewers in india are south indians. hence they shall offer what ever cost Tata Sky can fix. and me too will spend 350/- if i get all regional, national and western channels in clear quality picture.

Dont think about people who are in their respective states as they watch only their regional channels but there south people who are residing in north as they will be interested in both regional and hindi channels. If you put together to get all the channels for Rs. 350 its good :thumbsup:
