Sundirect reaches 1.8 million customers in 11 months that too in 90% in south states(TN,andra,kerala,karnataka) big surprice is that without much advertisement in tv & news paper theyr getting 2 lac customers per month

Hey arun when they start their DTH business at that time they mentioned that they r going to increase the channel count upto 200:madness:

Hi friends, Self care portal is not working for me.I think they r updating the new channels which they recently added(One alliance channel) @nuxer U r rite.With 7 TP's they can add upto 150 channels.I think they r mentioning that remaing 50 channels r from DD+

in the first SD ad they mentioned 75 channels + 15 radio channels at cost Rs 75 & 150 channels coming soon

now they added 132 channels (including one alliance)+4 comedy service(in 7 TP)=136channels + 37 channels from dd direct plus=173 channels+ 23 radio =196 channels ( still 20+ channels needed )


Airtel:

they mentioned over 175 channels

but 132 channels including dd channels + 1 help channel + 10 world space radio + 7 interactive service + 7 VOD =157 only


Tata Sky:

160 channels including interactive service

Big tv:

152 Tv channels + 32 movie channels + 10 radio channels =197 channels

dish tv:

148 channels from dish tv TP + 48 channels from dd direct plus + 20 radio channels + interactive service= 190 to 198 channels

U r rite.With 7 TP's they can add upto 150 channels.I think they r mentioning that remaing 50 channels r from DD+

in 7 TP we can add up to 175 to 200 solidly

if we take 1TP =25 channels that means 25*7=175 channels

in mpeg 2 they can add max 14 to 15 per TP that means we can add double the amount in mpeg 4 25 to 28 channels r even 30 channels per TP

Hi all, The website today shows 170+ TV channels and 23 Radio channels, did any one tried to contact CC, Previously it was displayed 200+... There r no changes in the packages i think...
