Super Confused, Wifi Broadband users, help me understand

Came to put some RANT here.
my WISP provider might have f**ed some of his settings, now his signals are weak, even when his tower is visible from my room window, I barely get working speeds on internet when connecting using laptop based wi-fi card as earlier.
If I go to my Roof Top, my laptop on same config works fine, but Its too hot to sit all day on roof,
This bitch guy doesn't has any idea what is f**ed up on his network and blames me that you connect direct when its should be thru f***ing Access Point.
if its my system fault how come all these months it was working ^$%^#$@#
its been 2 weeks since I am trying to get hold of his technical guy who would p*ss on my laptop and make it working, I would not be surprised
if he comes as ask me to buy quick heal too :-(
Due to Stupid Area no other f**ing option for me to connect, and Aircel 3G is expensive and feels more expensive when I pay this guy Rs.999/month.
One thing I noticed if I make "Beacon Interval" to 20, (Minimum Allowed Value ) his stupid network works on 1/5 speed but works
else its snail.
but this guy doesn't even knows whats "beacon interval" is and where to find that setting.
I am surprised how he's managed to be a ISP for so many years........

Just to update WISP users who go through this topic.
I installed the WISP Antenna provided by ISP, and seems the low signal problem was solved, but still his signals dropped a lot from what it was initially,
And there are 2-3 Bird nests in his tower, prominently visible from my place but he won't check the connections on top of it, no problem, thats not my
headache.

So After using WISP provided access point for a month, which had shorted power/LAN port, and I fixed it,
he wants it back, I asked how much for it, and answer was Rs.3000/-
I can get TP-Link TL-WA5210G for Rs.3000/- so I am not paying that amount for a crap which doesn't even has proper name and details,
so asked him to collect in a day or two.
in the meantime I came across 2 cheap options,
1). Digisol Green Router around Rs.1200-1400 on flipkart
2). Netis WF2411 150 mbps router. Rs.725/-
Both Above options had WISP options
So I went ahead and bought the NETIS one, got delivered today and I just configured it to my WISP Connection, the Netis router is
small, and very efficient, it got connected to my WISP connection without any problem,
Setup was super Easy.
I even got stronger than expected signals from this Cheap Router and I was able to access internet without a single problem thru it.
in Simple and non tech words, this gets connected to WISP and then provides you with your own SSID for WI-FI and has hell lot of options.
The interface and options available in this NETIS Router certainly looks they are very impressed by DD-WRT and have covered most required
settings.
But for the price these guys are selling this small wonder, certainly looks cool in initial stage, hope it stays that way.

So I've now Netis Router on WISP mode connected to my Internet provider, and my Existing TP LINK 3420 (on DD-WRT) as my primary router
to serve WI-FI to all devices in home.
I'll be fixing this NETIS Router near the TP-Link Itself but can't run Drill Machine at this hour :nono:
Hope this New Discovery about skipping WISP provided Access Point which doesn't even have Included WI-FI
would help users of ISP's like Tikona Broadband and other such WISP providers, and users can get WISP via WI-FI that too in very economical price.

You also could have setup the mr3420 as a repeater and used just one device for both getting connected to the provider as well as providing wifi to other devices within your home.

Thanks again Manoj, Are you referring to "AP Client Router mode"
One thing I am having problem with is, Internet getting dropped even when signal from WISP is 84% using netis,
Haven't tried on 3420, will dig the wiki and try it tonight.

I'd actually tested this on on mr3420 but using an openwrt variant called rooter, I have v2 which is not ddwrt compliant. If you're interested in that firmware you can get it here

To change to rooter, you'll first need to use the revert to stock from ddwrt site for mr3420 and then flash rooter firmware. If you change from rooter, you'll need a revert to stock from the rooter site before flashing back to ddwrt.
Anyway now that you've already bought the second device, maybe you shouldn't go through all the hassle. Unless you really like R&D!

looks very tempting, will try it if needed.
Currently I plan to Mount this Netis Thing on root-top,
cause event though the WISP Tower is 100 meters or so, its signal strength on most times is poor.
and if you move inch by inch, you get good signals like this one

If i get connectivity issue tomorrow I would flash rooter, else would wait till next weekend.
Edit: switched on and off, 7-8 times as i was finding good spot in room to fix it temporarily and Netis lost all saved info.
Has to Reset, but didn't worked, then Upgraded the Firmware to latest and it seems to be working fine now.
Now Running Netis(WF2411)-V1.1.27001,2014.05.07
It also has option of IPTV under network, and more options, but still they don't have a IST in timezone list.
